Good to know
Penny’s Cove is a family project set to celebrate the life of an incredible mother, grandmother and sister who lost her life too soon to Parkinson’s disease. Penny was full of life and light and her favourite things was to be by the water with an ice cream or a butter tart in her hand, a true ray of sunshine where ever she went. We hope she brings her sunshine to every person who visits the cove. We will be donating 2% of all profits to the Canadian Parkinson’s Society. Bring the whole family and book our bright and dreamy cottage! A beautiful retreat nestled in a canal off the St Lawrence river! Boasting 2 good sized bedrooms and 1 full bath. Recently renovated and ready to be experienced. This space has a full sized kitchen, full table for dining and a coffee machine for that morning cup of Joe! The bright and warm living room with the beautiful morning sun comes equipped with a flat screen TV, cable, Netflix and Prime, Disney and Internet. Featuring a large deck with 2 Adirondack chairs, a space for you to spend a quiet morning or watch the amazing sunsets in the evening. There is a small shed for you to store bikes, rods and tackle as well as access to 2 Kayaks and a SUP board on the property! There is a large fire pit for evening fires and s’mores and seating for outdoor dining! We have also provided a large gas BBQ for some easy and delicious outdoor cooking! Take your boat and go out fishing on the St. Lawrence river where it is well known and rated #1 best fishing area on Ontario! Bring your bikes for the amazing 32 km bike trail through Quebec. Excellent swimming at the end of the street and a boat launch. Hiking trails, ATV trails and beautiful quaint little towns along the river.
